YTEPP Limited has reaffirmed its position as a regional leader in the digitization of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) through its active participation in the CARICOM Digitization of TVET Programmes Project.
The initiative, which forms part of a tripartite partnership among the German Developmental Agency of the European Union (GIZ), the Caribbean Association of National Training Agencies (CANTA), and the Brazilian training institution SENAI, seeks to build capacity across CARICOM member states in the development of digital and blended learning for TVET.
During the most recent workshop held in Goiania, Brazil from August 25-29, 2025 , participants explored best practices in administrative support for digitization, course development, and multimedia production, including scriptwriting, videography, and editing.

YTEPP’s long-standing experience, having pioneered digital course conversion and online learning initiatives over the past seven years, served as a benchmark for other regional agencies now beginning their digitization journey.
As the designated implementing agency for Trinidad and Tobago, YTEPP will lead the next phase of the project, piloting two micro-credential CVQ courses in Waxing and Bread, Cakes and Pastries.
This effort underscores the organization’s ongoing commitment to modernizing skills training, expanding access through technology, and driving workforce readiness across the region.
