The Task: Pneumatic Actuator Installation
Scope of Work: The task involves removing two (2) motorized actuators and installing two (2) pneumatic actuators, each with a dedicated capacity storage tank. The actuators are identified by the following tag numbers: BDV 1021 and BDV 1008.
The job scope also includes:
- Fabricating and installing brackets without the use of any hot work.
- Cutting, threading, and installing 1” Schedule 40 pipes from the existing manifold to the air capacity tank, then routing to a control panel close to each actuator.
Electrical connections, including:
- Power cable to the solenoid valve.
- Feedback cable from the local position switch to the control room for valve status (open/close).
