Overview
The Retraining Programme is designed for retrenched, unemployed, or underemployed individuals between the ages of 25–60 who are ready to make a fresh start.
Through practical, industry-relevant training and certification, trainees gain hands-on experience, employability skills, and entrepreneurial knowledge to re-enter the workforce or transition into new careers with confidence.

Entry Requirements
To be considered for enrollment in the Retraining programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Eligibility Criteria
- Be between 25 and 60 years of age.
- Must be Unemployed, Retrenched or Under-employed.
- Must be a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago
Registration Requirements
Once accepted, applicants are required to submit clear copies of the following documents:
- Proof of payment: Registration Fee – $200.00 (non-refundable)
- One (1) passport-sized photograph
- Valid photo identification (National ID, Driver’s Permit, or Passport)
- Electronic Birth Certificate
- Bank account information
- National Insurance (NIS) number (if available)
