Patient Care Assistant (Level 1)

This course introduces trainees to the various health care needs of young persons and adults. Information and training is given on safety, personal hygiene and nutritional care. Practical training in the taking of vital signs and applying basic treatment to enable the client to achieve physical comfort when recovering from an illness is also covered.
