Bread, Cake and Pastry Making (Level 1)
This course provides training in health, safety, security and hygienic procedures essential for working in a commercial kitchen. Through extensive hands-on experiences , trainees will use a variety of preparation, cooking and finishing methods in the production of a variety of flour-based products, including quick breads, yeast breads, sweet dough, cookies, cakes, and pastries. They will also be exposed to the safety measures used while preparing, transporting and storing food in a culturally diverse work environment A graduate of this course can work as a salaried employee in a pastry establishment or start a small business.Certification
